This is Xena's Sword from Xena Warrior Princess! Complete your costume with this iconic blade!
Comes in two sizes: Standard and Oversize. The Standard sword measures 32 inches in total, the Oversize measures 43 inches in total. Please note all dimensions on Oversize are scaled up, not just blade length. The hilt becomes a 2-hander size at Oversize, and it probably works best as a display piece unless you are quite tall/large and going for the epic sword look. Most customers will probably want standard for something you're going to be carrying around.
Since this Xena Sword is plastic, it is allowed at many conventions unlike metal swords.
3D printed from environmentally friendly PLA plastic in silver, gold, and pearl colors. Never worry about paint coming off! That said, this sword is fully sandable and paintable if you want to make it more metallic or do other post processing.
This kit requires gluing to complete, you will be shipped 5 pieces as pictured. The pieces are designed for a 1/4 (Standard) or 3/8 (Oversize) rod in the middle, and also come with a set of alignment pins to make gluing easier. The rod is *highly* encouraged for better structural stability, and you can easily obtain wooden or metal rods from your local craft or hardware store. The Oversize sword works perfectly with a 36 inch rod, no cutting required. The Standard sword works best with 24 or 25 inches, which is a less common length so you might need to cut a rod to size. Also included are a set of alignment pins that go in the square cutouts, this is to help line up the pieces perfectly during the gluing process.
Since the blade is printed in separate pieces, there will be small seams between the pieces after assembly. They're not really noticeable from a few feet away.
